I started The Music Scene Zine in the fall of '06 because I wanted a place to showcase an eclectic mix of talented bands.  As more content is added, you can expect almost any genre of music from reggae to hardcore.  Local bands will be featured along with music legends.  Most of the photos and reviews will be from bands performing in the Connecticut area, although we have contributors in NYC, DC, and Texas.  

In addition to being the editor and senior photographer of The Music Scene Zine, I am also a wife and mother of 3 children.  My first passion is my family.  My husband, Wayne,  and my children mean the world to me.  Concert photography is my second passion. It is an incredible rush shooting a concert and capturing the energy of bands.  Wayne often accompanies me to concerts to help with equipment and interviews.  Although he won't admit it, I think he enjoys it as much as I do.
